It is a ten-day trip, starting in Kathmandu, where you will have a half a day’s sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu sites in the world. There is also the option to extend your stay by incorporating more sacred destinations in Nepal like Muktinath into the itinerary.

Itinerary of Kathmandu-Mansarovar Trip Package:

Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, lunch. In the afternoon briefing about the trip. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2:
Guided tour of Pashupatinath Temple in the morning. Fly to Nepalgunj in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 3:
Breakfast at hotel. Fly to Simikot. From Simikot fly to Hilsa on a helicopter, followed by a 15 minute drive to the Chinese border at Taklakot. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4:
Rest day at Taklakot for acclimatization. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5:
Drive to Mansarovar. Overnight at guesthouse in Chu Gompa.

Day 6:
Drive to Darchen (4620m), the base camp of Mount Kailash. Commence the approximately 20 km section of Kailash parikrama to Dira-puk (4860m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 7:
Continue trek toward Zutul-phuk (4760m), crossing the Dolmala Pass (5800m) on the way. The day’s trek will be approximately 18 km. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 8:
Conclude the parikrama by trekking down about 10 km. Then drive to Purang. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 9:
Drive to Hilsa, fly from there in helicopter to Nepalgunj, and fly to Kathmandu. On arrival to Kathmandu transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10:
Transfer to airport from hotel.
