What is the accommodation on this trip like?
All accommodation in cities will be of three-star quality. Guest will be accommodated on twin sharing basis. Extra charge will be levied if a client wishes to opt for an entire room for him/herself.

What will the transportation be like?
Besides the flights, all road transportation will be on A/C buses, in Nepal as well as Tibet.

What is the Visa process?
The first step of the application process for visa for Tibet is to send a photocopy of your passport.  The Chinese government usually issues the travel permit for Tibet a month before the departure date. After we get the visa, you will need to send us your original passport for further procedures. Once the visa is stamped on your passport, we will send the passports back to you. 
      
How big a threat is altitude sickness on this trip?
Altitude sickness is a real threat on the trip, but our itinerary is designed to minimize this risk. Our trained guides also know how to pace the trip so as to allow your bodies to adjust to the change in altitudes. If there is a serious problem related to altitude sickness, then our team will take the proper step to alleviate the condition, which includes descending to lower altitudes.

What kind of clothes should I bring?
Tibet is pretty cold year round, especially in the mornings and evenings. So taking warm clothes like warm innerwear, woolen caps, gloves, earmuffs are essential. We will provide down jackets to all our clients. The sun is intense in the high Tibetan Plateau, so sunscreen and sunglasses are a must.

What is the size of the group?
Our groups usually comprise between 25 to 50 people.

Can we use Indian currency in Tibet?
No, Indian rupees is not valid in Tibet. However, we will arrange for currency exchange.
